Privacy Policy

RichardSolo respects the privacy needs, concerns, and requests of our customers. It is our goal to provide you with an enjoyable and fulfilling shopping experience. We strive to meet or exceed your expectations. To accomplish this goal, we use the information our customers provide in several ways as described below:

When you visit the RichardSolo web site, we automatically recognize your Internet service provider, the Web page from which you came, and a record of your activity on our site. The customer information that RichardSolo collects through its web site is used to process orders, to enhance your shopping experience, and to make suggestions for improvement to the RichardSolo web site.

We use the information you share with us to improve your shopping experience by allowing us to make our web site easier to navigate, and more convenient to use. The information you provide enables us to process your order, confirm your order, keep you informed of the status of your order, customize the content and layout of our pages, notify you about updates to our site, and provide you with additional information about our products.

The information you supply to us is added to our customer database. We may send you catalogs or emails to inform you of new products, services and special offers, special promotions or upcoming events for RichardSolo. If you do not want to receive such mailings or e-mails from RichardSolo please email us at RichardSoloHelp@gmail.com and ask that your name be removed.

We do occasionally share names and addresses (but not e-mail addresses!) with other catalog companies that offer products you may be interested in. We will not share any personal financial information. If you are on our catalog mailing list, or order from one of our catalogs, and would prefer not to have your name shared with other catalog companies, please email us at RichardSoloHelp@gmail.com and ask that your name not be shared.

From time to time, we may modify or amend this privacy and security policy in order to comply with new laws or regulations or to reflect future changes in our business practices. All such modifications and amendments to the privacy and security policy shall be posted here in the Customer Service section of www.RichardSolo.com. The current policy has been in effect since February 14, 2007.

RichardSolo has taken measures to ensure that shopping at RichardSolo.com is a safe and enjoyable experience for our valued customers. We use Secure Sockets Layering (SSL) to encrypt your personal credit information, including your credit card number, before it travels over the Internet. SSL technology is the industry standard for secure online transactions. Because we use SSL, placing an order online is just as safe as giving your credit card number over the telephone. In order to be sure that information transferred between your browser and the RichardSolo server is secure, it is important to be aware of the security information available to you through your browser.

Once you enter the Checkout process (when you’re ready to purchase the items you have put into your shopping basket), your connection to our server becomes secure. To confirm this, look at the URL line of your browser. When you enter the secure area of our site, the first characters of the site address will change from “http” to “https”. This is how you can tell you are browsing a secure website.

Cookies: A cookie is a small piece of information that web sites use to remember information about users. RichardSolo uses two types of cookies to recognize our members and remember shopping list items. RichardSolo uses transient cookies to provide continuity from page to page. Within a single visit, these cookies store information such as your shopping list to simplify checkout. They do not contain any personally identifying information.

RichardSolo also uses persistent cookies to identify members after their first visit. These cookies remain on the hard drive of a PC and allow a user to enter our site later, without having to log in again on every visit. To access any secure areas such as your account information, you must still enter your password.
